Each Address within a Member is assigned a monthly budget with which to build Cloud infrastructure.
To view your budget and your spend, select the Compute App. Then select the Summary > Cost Analysis menu item. You will see your monthly budget there. You can drill down to see costs for individual VMs.
CloudCIX is distributed globally using a franchise model.
A Region Address (Region) is a Membership Address that contains a Region Pod.
A Builder Franchisee (Builder) is an Address that is the billing address for one or more Region addresses. A Region can be its own Builder. The Builder currency is the currency used to bill the Reseller.
A Reseller Franchisee (Reseller) is an Address that is the billed address for a Builder.
A Customer is an Address that is the billed address for a Reseller.
A Project must therefore have the following Address IDs.
Region
Builder (doesn’t have to be explicitly stored as it is nominated by the Region)
Reseller (is the same as Builder if a direct sale )
Customer
SKU pricing in Regions is ignored. A Region adopts SKU pricing from its Builder. A Builder can offer agreed pricing to a Reseller, otherwise standard SKU pricing. A Builder has to have the same pricing and currency for every linked Region.
The ‘CloudCIX’ category is reserved in CloudCIX SCM for Cloud billing purposes. All CloudCIX SKUs have default pricing set by the Builder.
A Budget is agreed between a Reseller and Customer. It is a financial threshold above which new infrastructure will not be built.
