The Store App

Your second task will be to install the required Apps from the CloudCIX App store. Membership and the Store App will already be installed by default. Only administrators have access to the Store App. To be a CloudCIX customer, the Apps you need to install are Compute, Financials and Helpdesk but feel free to install any Apps that you wish.

Why can’t Users see particular Apps or menu items?

  1. Only Administrators have access to the Store App. Regular Users wil not see the Store App.

  2. Administrators always have all menu item permissions for every App installed. By default, Users have no menu item permissions and Administrators must explicitly assign menu item permissions to Users.

  3. If a User has NO menu item permissions for an App, then that App will not be visible to the User.

  4. From time to time, App menus are updaetd to add new features. These new menu items will not be available to existing Users until permissions are granted. Administrators are informed by email if they need to review/update men item permissions.
