Add Users

Now let’s go through how to create a user account on CloudCIX portal.

  1. Open the CloudCIX membership application and click on “My Membership.”

  2. Click on “Users” to access your access list.

  3. To add a new user, click on “Create User.”

  4. Under the “User Details” tab, fill in the following information for the new user:

  • First Name* : Tester

  • Surname* : CloudCIX

  • Email Address*: tester@cix.ie

  • Password* : Set up a password for the user or generate a random password.

  • Start Date* : Input the date you want the user to access CloudCIX.

  • End Date* : Input the date when the user should no longer have access to CloudCIX.

  • Address* : Select your assigned member address from the drop-down menu.

  • Department : Select department relevant to user function

  • User can act as global person: Enabling this option will allow this user move between addresses in the member.

  • Is Private : Enabling this option will hide the User from any other Member.
