4.3 Receive CIDATA From PAT

CIDATA files are exported from the installed and working PAT that will be managing the POD being installed.

• CIDATA files for a CloudCIX PodNet A and PodNet B consist of three files each:

  1. A ‘user-data’ file to provide initial configuration to the Ubuntu Autoinstaller ISO

  2. A blank ‘meta-data’ file that is also required by the Ubuntu Autoinstaller ISO

  3. A ‘config.json’ file containing configuration information that will be used by the CloudCIX PodNet Installer.

• CIDATA files for a CloudCIX Appliance consist of four files:

  1. A ‘user-data’ file to provide initial configuration to the Ubuntu Autoinstaller ISO

  2. A blank ‘meta-data’ file that is also required by the Ubuntu Autoinstaller ISO

  3. A ‘config.json’ file containing configuration information that will be used by the CloudCIX PodNet Installer.

  4. A ‘.env’ file that contains the Docker Compose information that will be used by the CloudCIX Appliance Installer.
